Some more impressive bars in Bangkok
6 Tep Bar
The owner Kong Kangwarnklai returned to Thailand after years of living and doing business overseas. After that, he brought back with his new ideas. By 2015, with some associates’ help, Tep Bar was born. His notion of building this bar is that no matter how much Western culture is approaching, they always determine their own nature.
Situated in a lovely old street in Soi Nana area, near China Town, Tep Bar has everything you need for an evening of entertainment in Bangkok. You can try mixed cocktails with ya dong (a local herbal whiskey) and listen to a traditional music live. The most striking feature here is that the interior is quite special, with bricks covered with gold on concrete walls, which reminds us of the ancient times when people buried golden Buddha statues inside the wall to hide them.
